Did you get negative responses when you said you're getting an epidural?

So I hear this a lot. So I want to get a epidural. But I always wanted to try natural. (By what people are telling me about birth, I'll probably get a epidural). Anyways, I hear stuff like

--'you laid down like a women you need to do it right like a women'.

--'it's not that bad. It's all in your mind. You keep siking yourself up then of course it's going to hurt.

--do you care about your baby? If so you won't get one.

--They STAB you with that needle. You really want that?

--do you want to be paralyzed ?

Like someone at work keeps saying this to me every time she sees me! Also, I have heard it from other people as well..
