Pelvic Cyst Surgery? Anyone relate?

I’ve been in severe pain for almost 2 weeks now, missed a week of work, 2 ER visits and it all came down to a 8CM Pelvic cyst. Weird as I have PCOS and would have thought the cyst would be in my ovary but it’s apparently not. The pain is so bad I’m popping Percocet after Percocet and can hardly walk. I have a gyn appointment tomorrow and I really want the surgery to take it out. Anyone have experience similar to mine?? Or if you’ve had surgery to treat severe pain how long did it take for them to schedule you for surgery??
