Gas Pains?!

Question

Does anyone else get sharp gas pains through their chest down to their stomach and lower abdominal wall? Im 22 weeks 2 Days and I’ve had these air bubble gas pains for the last 5 hours and it hurts so bad. I burp every once in awhile and I’ve been drinking lots of water but it seems to make things worse. I feel constipated as well. Anyone else? Should I be worried? HELP!!

I've had terrible gas pains in my right side that radiated to my back. we have put it down to constipation. i was trying everything- increase fibre, water intake, eat kiwi and apples, prunes etc and added a stool softener to no relief. Today someone suggested grape juice. skulled a full glass and within 30 minutes I was feeling really nauseated and my stomach was rumbing....next minute RELIEF!!!!!! I feel like a new person now! Hope you find relief soon. The pain is a real thing!

I get that sometimes too. My midwife said I can take Gas-X and that helps some. Sometimes it also helps to walk around to get things moving internally.

I ended up using tums, 2 glasses of prune juice and a heating pad for it to go away. I was absolutely miserable and so glad it’s gone now

The ONLY thing that helped me with my severe gas pains where I felt like I couldn't move was gas x (simethicone). Had relief in like 10 min.
