The male mind is just as confusing as womens’

So Ik guys usually tend to be demonstrated as straight forward when it comes to speaking their mind but of all dude are different. So i kinda like this one guy. We made out once and planned to do it again. But we seem to have super busy lives and frankly I have strict parents like I can’t have a “strange boy” pick me up especially not at night. Anyway he asks me and calls me if he can pick me up and I have to say no Bc strict parents. Then he offers to drive me to school but then cancels a couple times saying he has tutoring/ tests to take which sounds legit but idk if he thinks I’m making up excuses to not see him and is doing the same to me?

Also side bar question how hard is it for guys to call girls attractive to their face? Like is it a genuine compliment or is it a i-wanna-get-in-your-pants-and-you’re-kinda-cute-and-I’m-desperate mindset?
