No sex drive and IUD?

Question

Does anyone else have like no sex drive and the Mirena IUD? I dont enjoy sex anymore and I barely ever get turned on enough to masturbate.  I feel like the IUD is ruining my sex life. I've only had it a little over a month so maybe I need to get used to it? But I hate feeling this way!!

Mirena definitely effects libido even though Doctors say it shouldn’t.  When I first got the Mirena it sent my sex drive sky high.  Seemed fabulous at first but it actually became an annoying distraction, dare I say it. Things have calmed down considerably now to normal levels and I’m happy about that. You’ve only had it a month, hopefully yours will return and balance out too.

Yup! Both Skyla and Mirena did this to me. I just started the pill this month and finally have my sex drive back 🙌🏼
