I'm 40 weeks +5 today (according to my doctor but I believe from very aggressive charting and my exact cycle, March 1st *yesterday* was my due date) and about two days ago I definitely lost my mucus plug. It was ton of stretchy, greenish snot like stuff on my tissues two or three times worth of wiping and even having to ease the rest on out (gross, I know.. lol). There wasn't really anything after I wiped for a the rest of that day and most of yesterday. Yesterday my doctor did a membrane sweep. I went walking and had some pretty intense contraction but not consistent. When I got home, I went to the restroom and when I wiped I had huge blobs of snotty greenish and hazy white looking show with bloody streaked mucus. Would that be considered my "bloody show"? About how long do you think it will take *actual active labor to begin, not just early labor. I'm 2-3 cm dialated and she says 50% effaced. I don't understand that because my husband checked me... we did everything precise and even measured with a ruler after we pulled the exact width of my cervical opening measurement and I was measuring about 5 at the very least. She's pushing pitocin hard and said she wanted to do an ultrasound too... we did that and she acted like she even though they want to see anywhere over 5 Oz of amniotic fluid, and I had 8, that still wasn't good... :/ I'm feeling very frustrated. I don't really know what to do because she wanted to immediately set me up for pitocin in 4 days and I'm completely against pitocin!
