Has anyone been through this?

I went to the doctor 2 days ago. I had an ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound to see if i had cysts, scarring or growth for endo. NOTHIBG showed up thank god! but sad thing is i have to go through more testing to see if im anemic , have thyroid problems or diabetic... ive been sleeping constantly even after my 8 hours ill take an additional 4 to 5. I've been having horrible period pain and heavy bleeding since i was 10. i recently have been taking birth control (low dosage) for 5 months now. it has help significantly but my doctor is telling me to help with the pain i still have ... she want me to take all the pills in my pack , except the sugar pills for 2 months but then the next month taking the sugar pill ( the ones that gives you a period).

So technically i wont have a period for 2 months. is this normal?
