Struggling with weight in college

Rachel

I'm a junior in college and as many have heard of the "freshman 15" well I've hit that goal freshman, sophomore, and junior year... my stretch marks have left dark purple scars along my thighs and my ass. My self esteem feels shot as I see other girls my age in fantastic shape while eating Taco Bell and chugging vodka. I mean really Sarah? How the fuck do you do it? Maybe it's a "phi apple si phu mu thing".

I've tried dieting and exercising but the stress of school + my environment at home is toxic making it difficult. I live at home to save money, however my family is a horrible influence with their diet & lifestyle. I've tried everything to help them make changes as a family but they continue to go out to eat 3-4 nights A WEEK. My parents are probably a cheeseburger away from a heart attack and it's sickening. Not to mention the pop tarts, popcorn, and canned fruit soaked in corn syrup we have stocked in our pantry. But if that's what's for dinner? Then that's what I eat, because I am broke as a joke while getting through school. Regardless of what I do I feel like nothing changes and I don't know what to do.

I'm frustrated with my weight and overall health/lifestyle along with my entire family. I suppose I'm just venting, tomorrow I'll start over again with a salad. 🙃 Any supportive comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.
