Eye exam

Tomorrow I am going get an eye exam as I’m having vision disturbances. I have a 10 month old that will be staying with my mother in law at home and she can’t give me a ride back home because she is expecting someone to install cabinets in her house so I had to get my husbands grandmother will be taking me there and bringing me to her house afterwards. I live 30 mins away so my best bet is to stay at her house afterwards because I doubt I can drive home with dilated eyes. I googled it and they say some people can and they allow them to. Would they allow me to? I didn’t get to ask on Friday when I called and they don’t reopen until right before my appt
