Being alone in labor & delivering ???

This will be my second child but the first time I’ll be alone. My boyfriend is out of state for work and I just don’t see him being there. My mother will have my daughter and my mother in law I don’t feel comfortable enough to be there when I’m in such pain an yea, we just don’t have that kind of relationship.. I’m scared to be by myself in a time that I will want such comfort. And I want to be able to cut the umbilical cord but idk if the doctors will allow me I just haven’t asked.... Anyone else experience this? What made you feel better?
