How long did you wait TTC after Loss due to IC?

Hi ladies,
I just lost my twins at 19 weeks due to suspected IC. I had no signs to point me having this.
My obgyn told me to wait 3-4 months.
The on call obgyn who delivered me at the hospital said to wait 6-8 months.
I feel pretty conflicted right now because I’m not sure who to listen to. They’ve both also ordered different things.

We lost our twins at 20 weeks last May.  I was told 3-6 months and we got pregnant after 3 periods.   I’m now 29 weeks with a healthy baby boy and a preventative cerclage placed at 13.5 weeks. 
Emotionally I never felt like I would be ready but I wanted to make sure my body was and after 3 strong cycles I felt it was.  I think it’s a balance of what you want and what doctors suggest.

my doctor told me basically that there are conflicting guesses on how long to wait. she told me that a lot of women should wait a year or a year-and-a-half because if it is premature birth instead of incompetent cervix that helps. but that if it is incompetent cervix that women are safe to wait like 6 months or less. she basically said it was up to me but that there was a lot of people who recommend waiting a year or more. I am 20 weeks pregnant and I waited just under a year I waited probably 9 months or 10 months

First of all sorry for your loss💔 I lost our baby boy Myles at 24 weeks on Dec 31, 17 due to what they think is an incompetent cervix..so I know what you’re going thru! My midwife said to wait 2-3 periods to try again..I’ve had one and waiting on my next ones..
