Nipple piercings?

So I’m thinking about getting my nipples pierced but I have some concerns. I’ve read that piercing your nipples can reduce the feeling in your nipples and that it can also negatively affect breastfeeding. I don’t want kids anytime soon but when I do I want to be able to breastfeed and I don’t want to screw that up. Has anyone had any issues with these things? Also, how is the pain? How long did you have them before it was ok for you or your S/O touch your boobs?

I had my nipples pierced and It sooooo wasn’t worth it. I was in huge amounts of pain for 3 days and then they were just constantly uncomfortable

It's important to note that nipples often don't ever heal from the piercing. I had mine in for almost five years and they never actually healed. I had way more sensation than before, which wasn't good or bad, just different. In my opinion the nipples required a lot of extra protection and really weren't worth the trouble. If you like the idea of a more exotic/kink piercing, I would suggest clitoral hood over nipples. Way easier, less painful, and more fun.

I got mine done and my nipple scare even more sensitive😜 the pain wasn’t bad getting them done and I was told to just remove them during rest feeding if it comes to that

I had nipple piercings but I took them out recently (had them for over two years) and I asked my piercer about breast feeding and she told me that people breast Feed even when they have nipple piercings they just have to take them out when they do go to breast-feed so it is OK to have nipple piercings and still want to breast-feed their children. I’ve never had a problem with mine and I haven’t heard anyone else have issues
