Was that suppose to be a period????

I switched birth controls here recently I just ended my second pack. My first pack I had what seemed to be a period but long story short I believe it to be a possible miscarriage. Anyways, I’m on my placebo pills and had a drop of blood and when I wiped I had blood and cm on the toilet paper but nothing else.. this is my 3rd placebo pill out of 4 and that’s all I got. Was that suppose to be my period ?
