6 month old won't sleep through the night

HELP! so my son absolutely refuses to sleep in his crib, he will cry constantly and wakes up at least 3 times a night. it's gotten to the point that he sleeps in my queen sized bed right between me and my husband. it's been this way for quite some time now. it's exhausting waking up through the night having to move him around and we don't get deep sleep because we are so

worried about him. i should also mention he has horrible acid reflux and chokes during the night while laying down even if he's elevated. he's been on medicine for months and it has helped out a lot but it's the scariest thing when you hear your baby gasping for air and you have to immediately grab him and lay him over your leg while firmly patting his back so he can get the liquid out of his throat. i would love for him to sleep in his own bed because i feel like we would all get better sleep but i'm terrified of him choking and not hearing it or be able to get to him fast enough. it's also hard on my husband and i because we don't get to cuddle and have pillow talk but my main concern is obviously about my son. have any other moms been through this and how did you go about it? i really could use some solid advice! no mean comments please
