How long should I wait to try again?

I know my doctor says I can try again after my next period but this was my third MC in the last 10 months of trying, one of them being a chemical. Just wondering if I should give my body more time for healing? I was planning on trying to take baby aspirin next go around I have heard of people with success with that. I just keep having dreams that I have a baby, I want one so bad, but I don’t want to rush my body if it’s not ready, any advice?

if your doctor oks it then I say go for it. not trying to be all in your business but curious.... has the doctor tested your levels and things like that or given a reason for the miscarriage? or is it just one of those things that's happening without a medical reason?

I don’t know how old you are but after three they usually try and do some testing and other interventions to see what may be causing the problem or if it’s just a for now problem. I’m so sorry for your losses. I’d say emotions need to be ready but also your body. After my first it took a looooong time to get pregnant again. And I believe a lot of it was my hormones not being ready as well as OBSESSING over timing everything. Good luck and hugs.

It’s really up to how you feel, and what your doctor says too. My doctor gave me the go ahead after one normal period but she was also very mindful about how I would cope it if we were to lose another (unfortunately I miscarried at 18 weeks last time, ectopic the pregnancy before that) I felt ready and conceived that first cycle back but I don’t know if I was quite emotionally ready yet.. I’ve been feeling quite up and down this time just waiting for something bad to happen (11 weeks now) if you feel you need time to heal emotionally definitely allow that time. Apparently baby aspirin and vitamin B3 can help protect you from miscarriage in the first trimester too if it’s not a hormonal issue.
