No. It’s no one’s duty to cook for an adult unless it’s literally their job they are getting paid for. My husbands cooks. I cook. We cook together. We eat out. We’re a partnership and we divvy up tasks based on who does them better and has the time to do it. Some families, the woman does just cook for her family. Which is great! It’s fine. But it’s not what “should be” for all. Each family is different.

It depends. If you’re home and he works till 5pm then it makes more sense that you’d cook dinner. You have to balance the chores between the both of you, but generally if you stay home you do more as they provide the income. Growing up both my parents worked and my mum still did dinner 95% of the time. But my dad cleaned the kitchen and cooked breakfast. So they split household duties in a way that worked for them. Personally, both my SO and I work and it’s whoever wants to cook that night or whoever gets home first. We’re currently LDR, but at the times we’re together he normally cooks because I get home later and have tons of studying to do.  
It’s both of your duty to provide for your family- income, cleaning, cooking, caring for kids and each other’s and your own needs. However you decide to do that should be agreed upon by you and your husband and should work for the both of you.

Cooking isn’t a duty. It’s a pleasure. Not just for his sake, but for yours. You do wanna eat, right? Well, then, someone has to cook. :p
If he’s home, he’ll cook. If I’m home, I’ll cook.

Y’all can switch it up sometimes.  I know a girl who says “it’s my mans job to cook for me” and like I always say “when you don’t cook for your man .. some other woman is going to do that for him”

The way I see it is as a woman its no your duty. And if a man tells you it is. He's not treating you right. You can do all these things because you want to. Because you want to be a good wife and you want to help out especially if you stay home all day. But it's not a duty. You're not a maid. And there's no excuses as in he works you don't. I grew up in a household where both my parents worked hard and my father would do the cooking every day when he got home. I saw him mopping, even washing his clothes and ours as little kids and my mom would do other things. So this is my opinion on this. It's not a woman's duty.

I typically prefer to cook because cooking and baking are two of my favorite hobbies, but my boyfriend will cook if he gets home before I do or I’m too tired after work.
