Breast milk to Formula

Within the next few months, we will be switching to formula. My husband is deploying this fall & we want to take a week long vacation without our LO. He will be 10 months old then. I have not pumped and don’t think it is an option for me as I do not have a stash and we have to travel to leave him with family. The logistics seem overwhelming. For those of you who have switched, how was the process? Did your LO take well to formula? Any advice or tips appreciated 😊
