Am I?

Question

Am I “too big” for being 16 weeks and this being my first pregnancy??  I’m only 5’4 so I don’t know if that makes me show “bigger” and earlier but oh well. 
People keep saying comments like “wow, you’re really big for only being 16 weeks” or “are you sure there’s not two in there?” 
Makes me self conscious in a sense. I love my bump and these comments make me feel bad about it.

We look about the same, and I’m 17 weeks tomorrow. I’m short too, about 5’2”, and I hear we show earlier. You look great ❤️

Pff, girl! Everyone's body is different! There is no "normal" with baby bumps! Just because their bumps happened to be smaller at the same point in their pregnancies doesn't mean yours is abnormal. Don't let the judgies get to you. Your bump is adorable! 😍

people don't think about what they say and most only have their pregnancies to go off of. everyone is different. you don't look abnormally large to me, you look great. just nod and smile to those comments, brush them off and enjoy your time being pregnant 😊

I have that same issue, this was me at 14 weeks, I’m now 15 weeks and a bit bigger. Everyone is just so different and so are our pregnancies, there’s no too big or too small, as long as the little one and you are healthy then that’s all that matters.

Do you have a shorter torso? I don’t think you look “too” big at all but you are definitely showing which is so exciting! My neighbor looked 6 months pregnant at 16 weeks because she is shorter and her torso is very short so she shows more than others.
But I can tell you she looked and still looks adorable!
