Could I be?

Just recently started trying in January. I’ve never been on birth control because my body reacts horribly to it. Safe sex has always been condoms until getting married last September!!! I’m always consistent with my period but Today is my third day past my expected period. I tested yesterday but said negative. Am I testing too early? I had previously scheduled a OBGYN appt for later this month so I’ll definitely be asking for a blood test. But what are yalls thoughts?
