I married a man with a child. I guess it's easier for us because the mom left and has no contact. he'll be 8 next month and was just barely 2 when we got together. I'm mom.

I tried it once & it wasn't for me. The kids were great boy & girl in 3rd/5th grade at the time but in the end when I thought about the future it just wasn't for me.Even though I had a child & was divorced I choose not to date men with a child(ren).

I’m married to one and I love him more than anything in the world, but It can be super hard to have a connection with the kid. And the ex-wife/ baby mama can be a total nightmare. Being a stepmom can be an extremely difficult and thankless job. Some people have great relationships with the ex, but you need full disclosure before you get involved.

I have one kid she's 2 yr old but my bf has 5!!!!! Ages 1yr, 6,7, 11, and 12. At first I was like fuck no. But now, I'm okay with it. He wants another one, so it's part of US. But honestly, I think there are enough kids, I just want him to get a vasectomy hahaha

I always said I wouldn't even though I have a son. Because I don't come with a "baby daddy" or any drama related to it and pretty much all guys do. That mess just ain't for me. But when my now boyfriend of almost a year came back into my life and wanted to date I made an exception lol His ex is definitely a psycho, mean, and always trying to cause problems. But I love my man so much it's worth it. Love his kiddo too😊

I’ve done it before and it was just too complicated for me personally and he never made me feel like I was a parental figure in the kids life (we had been together almost 7 years). But I know people that are great in that situation! It’s always hard to do only because the child can become attached and if things end badly it could upset them. I would say just go slowly.
