FTM here I keep hearing about how to prevent or treat thrush but I don’t know what it even is?

It’s like a yeast infection in your mouth and can be pretty uncomfortable

It’s a yeast infection that babies can get in their mouth and when they do, it can also lead to a yeast diaper rash. It looks like white patches in the mouth and baby can be really fussy when they have it. If baby is breastfed, mom can also get thrush in her nipples. If baby is bottle fed, the bottles and nipples need to be washed with hot soapy water and sterilized. They need some type of antifungal like oral nystastin to cure it.
