Husband’s schedule and ovulation

My husbands schedule makes him leave for a few days / nights a week and of course, it fell during ovulation time. We do it as much as possible when he’s home, but still seeing the days line up with ovulation and him being gone is disheartening. Anyone else dealing with a long duty rotation station, and ovulation? Have you gotten pregnant before? I feel like this is going to draaaawwwww ooouuuutttt TTC because every month is a gamble...even more than a normal TTC gamble.
