I might have already hurt my baby.

Tiffanay • Mom of one amazing little girl 🌸

I’ve only just found out that I am pregnant and being excited I’m reading so many articles and googling a lot. So this morning I googled “is taking hot showers ok during pregnancy?” I’ve always loved taking long hot shower and living in New England hot showers are a must. But then I read that prolonged heat, overheating and raising your body temperature higher than 102 degrees Fahrenheit can cause neural damage to the fetus especially in the first trimester. I spend at least 20 mins in the shower and believe me it’s it’s pretty hot. I’m from the Caribbean so feeling overheated isn’t something I can really detect since I love feeling hot. But I’m really afraid I might have already done some damage to my baby. 😭😭😭😭😭😔😔

Can anyone help?
