Previous c-section and thinking about baby #2?

Hello! I have a weird question. My husband and I were talking about having another baby. I have one son who was born via emergency c-section in July 2016 and recovery was extremely hard to say the least. I’m nervous about the scar site while being pregnant. I think we’ve waited long enough that it’s pretty much healed, but do you have pain at the site during pregnancy? Thank you!

I didn’t have any issues. Had emergency c for first and scheduled for 2nd. The scar is so low down my second baby bump didn’t effect it at all.

I had a c-section in July 2016 and I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant with twins and measuring the same size as a full-term single pregnancy. I’ve had no issues with my scar!

I had a c section for my first, with an incision that became infected and took a long time to recover from. But this time I’ve had zero pain or discomfort from the incision. Now 27 weeks. My babies will be 23 months apart. I never think about the incision or scar tissue.

My babies are 20 months apart. Overall I didn’t have any scar pain, but the occasional pulling/tingling feel. It did get a little sore towards the end when I would have contractions. But nothing big, my doctor said it was normal. You should be fine! ❤️❤️

You should be fine by now. I have 2 c-section babies that are 19 months apart. This time around, my babies will be 23 months apart. However, I also got pregnant when she was about 3 months, and again when she was 11 months but both of those pregnancies ended in miscarriage. So this pregnancy, she was around 13.5 months when I got pregnant. This is baby #5 biologically, and has been my easiest pregnancy so far.

I waited 11 yrs to have my last baby. So mine was pretty healed up. I will say I wanted to try for a vbac. We did and failed. In the end they said I waited to long and had allot of scaring.

I had my 'July baby' in early August, she is my 3rd baby but my only c section,  and I'm due again in just 6 weeks!! So my daughter was I think 11 months old when I conceived. Initially I felt a little discomfort at the incision, like a pulling feeling. Now my biggest issue is the c section caused me diastasis recti and I definitely feel it retearing, it's very uncomfortable since about 3 weeks ago. I've had zero complications though.  But if you didn't have diastasis recti you should be fine. And you waited even longer than me so you should be good to go!
