Potty trained at night?

Question

For those that have already potty trained, are they potty trained at night as well? 
New to this whole potty training thing and trying to know when to pull the night time diapers. She still wakes up with a full diapers most nights, so I don't know if it will be anytime soon?

Nighttime is normally the “hardest” I say wait! Wait until she stops waking up wet. Her body will learn to hold her pee on its own :)

I guess I’m sanctimonious for wanting my son to be potty trained early. 🙄
We won’t try for overnight potty training Until his diapers are virtually dry. During the day is easier but 10-12 hours of sleep and no diaper right now isn’t even realistic for us. I’m not in a rush for overnights esp when he wakes up with a totally full diaper. Sometimes I even change him in the middle of the night. So ya for us, almost fully potty trained during the day, not even close over night.

Most doctors recommend waiting until the baby is waking from naps and overnight with dry diapers. This signals more control over their bladder function. I am gently introducing my daughter to her potty and telling her more about it little by little. They are overwhelmed enough at this age, I don’t want to confuse or frustrate her.

A few weeks ago I took my daughter out of the bath, and as I was drying her off, she squatted down and started grunting. Not wanting to clean poop off of the bathroom floor, I quickly put her on the toilet, and she proceeded to poop in the toliet. I made a huge deal about it and sang and danced saying she "poo poo in the potty" (although I am fully aware that this doesn't "count"). 
The next day while trying to get her to take her nap, she asked to go to the potty. I was convinced that she was just trying to get out of napping, but I said okay. She got off the bed, opened our bedroom door and ran to the bathroom. I followed behind and took off her pants, and sure enough, she pooped in the potty again. That night when my husband took her to the bathroom to take a bath, she asked to potty again, and shockingly she peed. 
This has happened several times since then. Not everytime she has had to potty, not even half the time, but generally about once or twice a day. 
I am a huge advocate for following the child's lead for everything developmental. I have in no way "pushed" or even encouraged this, aside for the first night and not wanting to clean up poop off the floor and singing and dancing. We have not asked her "do you want to go potty?" or even put her on the toilet without her asking first. 
I have stated many time on this app that I do/did not intend on starting potty training until around 2 years old, due to my best friend sharing her story about how she did it too early with her daughter and her daughter responded negatively to it. 
I actually love the convenience of diapers. We make an 8-hour trip monthly to visit our family, and as if this trip isn't stressful enough already, I dread doing it without the convenience of diapers. 
With that said, if my daughter literally asks to go to the potty, I will not tell her "no" or discourage her development for my convenience, and I highly doubt any of you would either if your child was doing the same. 
I asked about the night time diapers because my husband asked me. Due to never have potty trained a child before, I didn't know the answer. I told him that I will ask the mom's group, which now I am thinking maybe I shouldn't have.

My son isn’t potty trained yet although we will be starting soon. I’ve heard that while it’s easier to night train if they’re waking up dry, it can still be done. Limit liquids 2 hours before bedtime (I would try no liquids at least an hour before bedtime), make sure they potty before going to bed and then get them up to potty again before you go to bed. Put them on the potty immediately after waking up. Like I said, we haven’t potty trained yet, but I’m hoping to go cold turkey on the diapers all together, day and night. I feel like it can be confusing if they wear diapers part time and underwear part time.

I will not be potty training till my daughter:
Understands the English language more. 
Has the ability to to get out of her crib, walk to the bathroom and know how to turn on a light and use the bathroom-she isn’t going to be in a toddler bed for a verrrry long time. 
Can thoroughly enjoy the reward system we choose.
She just now is starting to tell me if she pooped. And 5% of the time she actually has.
