New job

Today I had my first orientation for my new job, I had a good time and am super excited to start this new journey. However, I'm super shy when it comes to communication. I work as a housekeeper for a casino resort, so I was just curious if you ladies have any tips on how I can overcome my shyness? I want to try something new at this job, try and make some friends, and definitely make it last for a while. I will make $11.00 an hour full time, plus benefits, paid time off, discounts, etc. thanks! 🙂
