Is it healthy being almost 38 wks pregnant working at a factory..
Please read till the end...
I just moved into a house this past Saturday (March 10th), and started working at a factory call Shaeffler (new name for LuK). It’s really loud, some funny smells, and just basic factory stuff. I took the job offer because well, we just moved in and can use all the money possible right now. I’m 37.5 weeks pregnant, and being on my feet having only one break, and having to walk so far because of parking arrangements here for like 2k workers is hard on me. My feet swell and I have to wear steel toe foot wear, which is really uncomfortable, they aren’t able to make any accommodations for that, but I need the money.. hubbie is working, but insists I continue working until I possibly can’t anymore but I’m constantly in pain, and making nonstop restroom breaks. I’m starting to have Braxton Hicks constantly.. greater than or equal to 8/hr.
I can’t sleep hardly, as my shifts are Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm and half the night I’m up using the bathroom.. I’m wore out throughout the week and I’m worried that when the baby comes I’ll be too exhausted for labor..
Please help...
