Going out for a walk with my newborn?safe?

Today and for the next few days it will be sunny and around 11-13 degrees C (51-55 F). Would it be safe to put my 5 week old in a stroller and go for a walk?! Ive been pretty active before and during my pregnancy so staying indoors has been driving me a bit crazy.. hehe.. what do you think??

Of course! Just make sure baby is dressed appropriately and bring a blanket

Absolutely! Bundle baby up and get some fresh air!! I liked to use the travel system at this stage so baby was facing me and blocked any wind 😊

I hope you went out for a walk! I really enjoyed walks with my newborn.
Something I didn't know, may you might, was when it's warmer not to put a blanket over the stroller to help block the sun. My first was born in May and it was hot/sunny here and I would use a thin swaddle to drape over his stroller and block the sun when we were out. It never occurred to me that I would risk making it way too warm in there due to lack of air flow. Thankfully that never happened but it's something that's been discussed at our parent discussions held by the public health nurses here.
