What kind of noises does your baby make?

I’m pretty convinced I have the weirdest baby in the world🤣. His favorite noise right now is a super low pitched grunt/growl that sounds like he’s constipated (I assure you, he’s definitely not constipated lol). It’s sooo embarrassing when we take him in public! His other favorite noise is a super high pitched squeal that sounds like a dying kitten! When I try to talk to him to get a normal human response I get the growl 90% of the time lol.

Our current favorite is making a sound while breathing in. It sort of sounds like he’s gasping, but he’s smiling the whole time. It’s scared my husband and my folks, but the SLP in me finds it amusing.

My daughter grunts also! And she always chooses to do it when we’re out. So ppl stare at us 👀 but she also babbles she says nananana a lot.

Mine use to makes sounds like “agoogoogooo” and now the only sounds he makes at  the moment is blowing raspberries, squealing, and loudly screaming (but not in an upset way) 😂

I get quite a range. A lot of the low grunts, the occasional high squeal when she's really excited or just trying different things. She used the jabber a lot buy now we're starting To get some dadadada and yayayayaya. (still no mamamama)     We try to encourage her by making similar sounds back to her as well as throwing in some conversation like "oh really" and "tell me more"

Ya my boy did the whole gremlin growl for bout a week. Every week it’s something different. Last we was raspberry spitting all over. 6 months old today
