When did your postpartum discharge stop and period start?

I bled heavy after my first for nearly 3 months and couldn't tell the difference between discharge and period. I got a new ob and hospital and they've taken much better care of my after birth experience I bled a lot lighter after the meds they gave me and actually know what the discharge is supposed to look like. I'm only 2 weeks pp and my discharge and bleeding lightened and stopped a day or so ago but now I'm bleeding again??? Could this be my period or more postpartum?

My period unfortunately didn’t skip a beat. As soon as the bleeding stopped (about 6 weeks) I got my period two weeks later then just picked up where it left off completely regular.

I stopped bleeding after a 1 1/2 weeks PP & had a 4 day period a month after !

Post partum bleeding stopped right at 4 weeks and period didn't come back until 14 months post partum due to breastfeeding

My pp bleeding lasted about 2 weeks and I didn't get a period for 6 months while nursing. It does sound like you may have started your period, which is totally normal. Every woman is different as is every pp experience with each baby. Sounds like your period though. Congrats on your new arrival :)

Postpartum bleeding stopped about 2 weeks. Period came back 11 months later. I exclusively breastfed so that helped.

I bled for
9 weeks..... I didn't know that wasn't normal until I told my doctor at 9 weeks. They gave me birth control to stop the bleeding.
