I’m expecting my second son in 5 weeks. We live in Berkeley CA and housing is very expensive so moving was never an option. We have a two bedroom two bath unit. My husbands office is in the spare bedroom as well as the rats, and cat box so we can’t use that as a second bedroom. Currently my 18 month old son sleeps in the living room. The new baby will spend the first months with us then go to the living room as well. I’m going to be rearranging things so that when we get up with the infant my oldest can’t see us but he’ll deff. still be able to hear...(kitchen and living room are basically one big room) my husband and I will still need to prepare bottle, rock, and change diapers in the living room Cuz that’s the set-up.

I’d love to hear from mom’s going through something similar or who have already navigated two kids in a small space. I’d love to do what I can to prepare!
