Do you and your SO share finances?

My fiancé and I have a joint bank account which we use for food etc but we take care of our own separate bills and loans. we are now talking about merging our money completely together and I’m excited about taking this step. 
I’m curious as to what you and your SO do with finances?

we don't split anything everything goes into the same account and we pay it. we look at the bills separate or not as ours. It doesn't matter how much each one of us puts in the account it's all ours. Not just certain amounts.

My SO and I share it all. Joint accounts, all income, debt, bill payments out of the same pocket. Makes things so much simpler.

We share a bank account and I pay bills out of it. We don’t keep track of who’s money it is. It’s our money. It’s so much easier that way. We’ve shared money since about a year in. Good luck! Just make sure you have some sort of plan for if you break up. That happened with an ex and it got messy quick.

We have separate accounts and pay our own separate bills like we did before we were married. We do have a joined account, but we only have that so I am able to transfer money for bills easily and efficiently; it’s a throwaway account, really. It bugs the shit out of me, but whatever.

We have separate accounts. Together 13 years; married 5. We do have one shared acct but thats just stock $ we got from an acquisition of a former company and I put money in there randomly., i make a lot more than him. He’s been renovating our entire house the last ~1.5 yrs

We split all bills we have together. Rent, utilities, gas, groceries. I pay my car note, phone bill, and insurance. It works for us. To each their own.

Everything is joint... since we got married. I definitely would NOT have done that before marriage.
