What makes you think you’ll go early?

I’ve been seeing a lot of ladies say that they feel like they’ll deliver early, or trying to coax labor. What makes you feel like it is possible? I’m just curious because I’m at 37 weeks and honestly feel like I could go on forever at this point, or at least until my due date, haha. Is it just that you’re uncomfortable, or is it something else?

I think everyone thinks they’re gonna go early because they feel like they can’t get any bigger or there body hurts but in all reality a lot of those people end up having their babies late or on time and not early

im almost 38 weeks and i dont feel any signs of approaching labor at all so I think my man's staying in here as long as possible 😂

My first was born at 38 weeks exactly and weighed 7 lbs 12 oz, so I'm just assuming baby #2 will come before 39 weeks. I'm not doing anything to speed up the process though. I really want an April baby.

FTM here, due April 22. I feel like I’ll go late! My mom went 19 and 21 days late with my brother and I (back in the 80’s), and required emergency c-sections with both. Here’s hoping the c-section part won’t be hereditary lol. At 35+3 baby hasn’t dropped, not effaced or dilated at all, and only occasionally some mild BH when I overdo it. I think he’s just comfy in there! (Although I wouldn’t mind if he got his feet out of my ribs).

I’m with you, I feel like I could go forever! I was induced at 41 weeks with my first and I feel like he would have hung out in there a while longer if he was allowed... he never even dropped. I would love to think I will go a little earlier with this one but I’m just preparing to be pregnant til 41 weeks anyways 😭.

I've just had a gut feeling that baby girl will come early. But I've had high blood pressure so now there's a chance I'll be induced even if she doesn't come early on her own... we'll see what happens.

My little dude is measuring 4 weeks ahead and has been since 28 weeks. Even the doctors don’t think I’ll go to 40 weeks. They even did my group b test early Incase I went into labor before 36 weeks but I’m now 36 weeks and I personally don’t feel labor coming anytime soon but I know it’s likely it will happen, and it will probably happen without warning.

I just had a feeling I would be early. But now I’ve had 2 preterm labor scares and I’m on bed rest for 2 weeks until I hit 37 weeks. 
My midwife was joking today “wouldn’t it be funny if he stayed past 40??” 😳😒 no. It wouldn’t.

Ive been measuring ahead (babies pretty big) and have had lots of strong contractions. And bloody show. I’m only 36 weeks so my doctor has even said she’ll be surprised if I make past 39 weeks. But not only do I feel like I can go early naturally because of her size I will be induced a little early
