Membrane sweep, What Now?!

Question

So I’m 40w+1d and at my appointment they said I'm 1 1/2 centimeters dilated and my cervix is really soft. They did do a membrane sweep so well see if it works. I expected way more pain but it was certainly uncomfortable lol. But now what? What can i do to get more dilated? I’m not cramping or spotting or anything yet. Hope she comes soon !

my midwife attempted one today but couldnt as my cervix is to far back. ive had brown spotting now stopped and have bad period cramps since with pelvic pressure which hasnt stopped.im not hopeful as she didnt do the sweep but said it might help but unlikley. hope it works for u. ive decided not to have another now as its not worth this discomfort if its not going towork

I had my membranes stripped on 3/16 when I was 2 cm dilated. Still nothing.
