So I had my first person sexist experience today. I work in a millshop in the projects division and have lately been trying to get into the shop to see how everything is built. One of the shop guys came and sat at my desk for a little bit today to see how I enter orders and quotes. Well apparently my boss found the shop supervisor and complained about that. And I can't go into the shop anymore because I might be a distraction... The fuck!?!?! I'm a distraction for wanting to learn more about my job?? The worst part is that I can't say anything because his complaint was supposed to be anonymous.... I can't believe I have to sit next to this guy every day knowing he is a sexist pig that thinks women are too distracting. Meanwhile I know the fact that I'm am attractive young female is part of the reason I was given the job over the older guy that also applied.
