Can I be pregnant while on bc? (Implant)

This is my second month with this implant and my period is 22 days late. I’m scared that i might be pregnant because when I got the implant my doctor told me to wait until my period and I had unprotected sex before that or after I believe but I took the morning after pill to be safe. I have stomach aches regularly and back pain. Same symptoms as if I was on my period. (Except the stomach pain) my boyfriend and I want to take a test to make sure. Should I? Or am I just over reaching and stressing to much?
