Implant question

So I got my implant in Feb. within my first 5 days of period. My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex almost every other day. During the beginning of the month I was spotting. My period is about 5 days late. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests. One the day my period was suppose to start, and on my 5th day late. Both tests were negative. Is this just my body getting used to the implant? I’ve been freaking out about all this.
