Yesterday at my ultrasound the dr discovered that my son has a cleft palate and a “subtle” cleft lip. For all you mamas with babies who have clefts were you able to breastfeed? And how is their hearing? My dr. Stressed me out by making this a bigger deal then what I think it should be by saying now I have to get an amnio test to check for disabilities and so forth. I just want to think of my baby as being perfect, but I’m just stressed and sad about what he has to go through later on to fix all this. If you mamas can just share positive thoughts so I can have a peace of mind I’d greatly appreciate it. 🙏🏼🤗
