Family..

Idk if this is off topic, but my grandpa (dads dad) is a raging acholic so bad to the point he didn't even show up to my aunts wedding (HIS OWN DAUGHTER) to walk her down the asile her mother had to walk her down I felt terrible, everybody did, she didn't get a father daughter dance or anything. I've never been super close to him due to only meeting him when I was 11, he has never reached out to me until today... He tried adding me on fb and I deleted it, I feel terrible but the fact that 24/7 he chooses alcohol over everybody and everything... I don't know what to do, do I ignore him or give him a 100th chance? Its so hard and my wedding is coming up within the year I want him to be there but I know deep down he won't be there, he couldn't even go to my aunts.. He will never change.. he couldn't for his past 3 wives, his kids, or his current wife, let alone his grand childern. I just wish he would put the bottle down but it won't happen
