Am I being selfish ?

Question

My friend is getting married in July in Florida (kinda a destination wedding since we’re all from NY). I’m in the wedding (last minute add bc someone dropped by the way) and I’m bringing my boyfriend. Due to my bfs job, we have to fly out Friday, the day of the rehearsal dinner, then the wedding is that Saturday. 
My friend mentioned that the day after the wedding she wants to do a lunch with the bridal party. Most of us are only staying in Florida from friday-Monday. My bf and I would like to have just one day to ourselves before we go home Monday. Just to do dinner or a theme park, anything. 
Am I being selfish ? 
And any ideas on how to nicely tell my friend that we may not attend the lunch?
By the way she hasn’t 100% confirmed this lunch but I feel like she’ll confirm it last minute 🙄.

I'm still kind of shocked that she only added you because someone dropped out last minute. Nah mate, I would have declined being in her wedding knowing I was just a "back up" and not a first draft pick.

Are you paying for the trip or is she? If she is paying for the trip then I think it would be rude to say no.. but if you are paying all your own expenses then I think you deserve a day to enjoy it

Why not schedule activities for just you and your bf in the morning and afternoon/evening? Lunch would only be maybe two hours, and you gotta eat anyway.

No, you’re not selfish!  You are there with your boyfriend, wouldn’t be fair to ditch him for lunch either considering that you guys made the effort to be there for the destination wedding!!

Go to the lunch! It’s her wedding, and regardless of when she asked you to join her party, you made a commitment to her. it still sounds like she considers you a good friend. If she is important to you, make this weekend about her, simply because it is a nice thing to do. If you were in her situation, wouldn’t you love to have your friends supporting you?

personally if it is just a lunch that she wants to do I say go. you'll have all morning and the rest of the day with your bf to do what you want
