Period or anovulatory bleeding?

Curious: has anyone been diagnosed with anovulatory bleeding? I got my period this week and I thought “yay! That’s the third one I’ve had somewhat regularly (50ish day cycles),” assuming this meant treatments are working and I’m ovulating more normally. But then I did the math on when that would’ve meant I ovulated and was frankly pretty surprised I wouldn’t have been pregnant this time because of when/how many times I’d had sex (obviously there are a lot of factors at play in babymaking - noted). A lot of research later and I’m wondering if maybe these “periods” have been some form of anovulatory bleeding as a result of my PCOS instead of “normal” menstruation? Any thoughts or insight would be helpful!
