so ive had 5 miscarriages and might be pregnant again the doctors tell me that I'm barren I dont know how this keeps happening im not sure what I'm supposed to do i dont want to keep losing them but i dont know how to stop it and if im barren then why am I on my 6th pregnancy

I had 6 miscarriages before finally conceiving successfully through fertility drugs/IUI. Sounds like your doctor is a quack to me. Do not give up on having a family just because of one doctors opinion. My sister had a doctor once that told her she only had bad morning sickness because she “didn’t want her baby to live” 🙄 unfortunately not all doctors are as intelligent as we think.

My cousin had 5 miscarriages, then her doctor told her to take a children's aspirin everyday to open her blood flow a little bit so the nutrients could properly get to the baby, and now on her 6th pregnancy she is 31 weeks! Not sure if that's exactly what helped, but it couldn't hurt to try.

Barren isn't necessarily the inability to get pregnant, but perhaps the inability to support growth during pregnancy. I would try to find out why you're having frequent miscarriages and what you can do to increase odds of this one going full term.
