glider vs rocking chair.

My husband and I want to start decorating the nursery next week when we find out the gender. We want to get a glider but we don't know anything about them. I know it sounds stupid but we've never used one before and haven't heard any reviews. We have a wooden rocking chair but we wanted to get something that is more comfortable. We want something that will be easy and comfortable to sit in for long periods of time for rocking to sleep and breast feeding. I'm from Canada so I still have access to babies r us and they have this one. Any and all advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Are these good?
