craiglist personals and backpage?

im so thankfully glad that craiglist is no longer doing personals. however, theres still backpage! backpage is full of women w their number as the title and their facebook or twitter on the subject to show theyre real. are they real? i heard some are just ads and police trying to put some ppl in jail. my husband used to use craiglist personals, im afraid he might go to backpage, which has more women posting than craiglist. he claims hes not doing it anymore and only did it when we were separated, but i dont trust him since hes so secretive w his phone and email now when he was before.
