Hi all! I’m a FTM due this Sunday. At my appointment yesterday I️ was about 1cm and baby was still really high, Doctor couldnt strip my membranes even though she tried. She doesn’t like to go past 41 weeks and has me scheduled for an induction at 40 weeks, 4 days at 8pm (so basically almost 40 weeks 5 days). This isn’t my first choice as I’d like to naturally go into labor and let my body do its thing, but this seems to be the way the doctor goes and when i asked she said it wasn’t too early. A plus is that my husband has a crazy schedule and at least this way he can be there for sure.

Has anyone been induced around that time frame? Any words of advice? How long were you in labor. She said I️t could take 24-48 hours based on how dilated i am currently, which sounds terrible!
