Am I wrong for keeping my relationship private from my parents?

I haven’t exactly told them I’m in a relationship 10 months now. They know I’m “dating” someone but don’t realize it’s getting more serious.

I just don’t want nosy people in my business. But...today I had lunch plans with my mom and she took me to her friends grand opening restaurant, in which I had no idea she had planned to set me up on a blind date with the owner’s son 😱😶

I told her that im seeing someone and not interested in being set up.

Do I have to tell my BF and how should I do it? Would he even care? This story is funny but I feel mixed emotions and pretty bad that they don’t know who he is yet. But on the other side, I haven’t met any of his friends either.
