I want to have a baby...

I want to have a baby, but I am single with no family. If you would in my situation, would you wait for years for the adoption system to work or would you get a sperm donor? I am in my mid-30s, have a good career and dating is not something I want to do right now. I believe in adoption, that is where my heart is, but they make it so hard to go through the process. I want a family so much. What would you do?
