When you become pregnant- you have life inside you, a baby, you are the mother of that child. You're already caring for him or her too by taking prenatals and going to the doctor etc

I've had friends who never carried any of their babies to term, but they are still moms.  When they talk about their stories they talk about their babies and how they lost them.   You become a mom as soon as you are pregnant.  You are nurturing your baby.

I think you’re considered a mother when you become pregnant but I didn’t FEEL like a mother until I left the hospital after giving birth lol

I believe when you become pregnant because as stated before we start to care for our unborn child that's growing inside of us. Giving them all the right nutrients to grow

When you get pregnant, when you give birth, whichever feels like motherhood to you. It’s going to feel different from person to person. Not worth arguing. 
Probably worth clarifying with your SO if you’ll be pregnant for Mother’s Day, just so there’s no confusion about expectations.

This isn't really something one can argue. It's up to each individual. I didn't become a mother until I gave birth to my first child.
