Missed Period

My periods are usually pretty regular because I take birth control pills. However, my taking of the pill this last month was pretty irregular. Towards the end of my pack I missed a few days and had some light spotting and then I got back on track again with my pills which stopped the spotting, but my period has yet to arrive 6 days later. I was sexually active, however I used a condom each time. Could the missed period be due to my inconsistency with my pills or should I be more concerned?
