Is your baby crawling already?

Are your babies crawling yet? My sister in law always makes me feel bad when I go over. She’s always saying that at 5 1/2 months her daughter was crawling. And she’ll make comment to my daughter like “we need to get you to start crawling” or “you need to crawl already you’re big”. My babygirl turns 6 months tomorrow. My pediatrician told me that some baby’s crawl AT 6 months & some after 6 months. & that I shouldn’t worry but it still makes me feel bad. 😔

Nope, Oli is 6 months and he tries but he doesn’t have the arm movement down yet. Every baby is different so don’t feel bad, I know Oliver does some things other babies don’t and hasnt done others yet. My doctor is pleased with his growth and development and he’s a super happy baby so that’s all I care about. There’s always gonna be judgy moms.   I had one of my fiancées friends gf ask me if I was still (or did) breastfeeding and when I said no she was poo pooing all over it...till I told her I had cancer and my meds didn’t allow for me to have a milk supply. 😏😏 so don’t worry we’re all different, tell her to shush and worry about her own kids.

My cousins daughter went straight to walking at 9 months and never crawled. Everyone says my baby is going to be like that but today she put her weight on her hands and knees and I'm thinking maybe she might actually crawl!

My son is trying really hard to crawl and will get up on his hand and knees and try to lunge forward. Our peds told us though that crawling is NOT considered a developmental milestone and some babies never crawl, some just go straight to walking and standing. don't worry. like many others have said, babies all develop in their own time.

Nope son just turned 6 months on the 22nd but he does get on his hands and knees but it's short lived.

My girl is almost 7 months and still no crawling 🤷🏼‍♀️. She can sit unassisted on her own. And can pull herself onto all fours but can’t go forward yet. She just kinda bounces then falls forward haha. But when on her back she kicks her feet and moves herself around the room that way.

Our pediatrician said some bigger babies take longer to crawl and some don't crawl at all and go straight to walking (later on).

My son is slowly starting to crawl. He’ll crawl backwards, but struggles a bit forward lol I don’t worry though because I know he will slowly get there. Every child grows and learns at their own pace 😬
